Stop the Violence Youth                Summit

Youth form all over South Florida

St. Thomas University
  Gus Machado Bldg.
          8am- 6pm
   FREE TO CHAPTER            MEMBERS

                          Register by June 28th, 2024

  • Rising 6 graders to High School can attend

  • PAL Chapters who recieve the Stop the Violence       

        Grant are required to bring at Least 20 youth.

  • Students will be split into multiple groups.

  • Breakfast, Lunch and Snack will be provided by Sodexo Caterer.

  • Mentors will be attending classes with students.

Our Annual Youth Karaoke Contest is back and our returning Champions Miami Beach PAL wants to hold that trophy a little longer. So each PAL better be ready to bring it this year. The Theme this year is Peace, Love, and Uniity songs. They can be from any genre of music but must have that message in the song.

 

            HERE ARE THE RULES

As always this is a mandatory event and each PAL must have a participant(s). We will be judging you on your ability to;

​

1. Sing the Song

2. Wardrobe, costumes, 

3.Choreography

4. Group Attendance

​

  • Your song Lyrics must be clean.

  •  you can only have a maximum of 10 people on stage.

  • 1 team for each Chapter.

  • Song can not be longer than 3 minutes.

  • Overall score takes home the coveted PALs of South Florida Karaoke Championship Trophy to host at their PAL for the next year.
